WHY I'M DOING THIS
It started with my grandmother’s meatballs.
Here’s the deal. I put that recipe on camera because people kept asking. I figured a few thousand of you would watch it.
Then the comments started coming in.
Men who hadn’t cooked a meal in years were in the kitchen on a Sunday. Guys were sending me pictures of their kids at the table. Fathers and sons making meatballs together. People opening a bottle of wine, sitting down, and telling stories the way we used to. One guy told me it was the first time his whole family ate together in a year.
I read every one of those. And I’ll tell you the truth, it got to me.
Because I know what that table means. I grew up in Brooklyn. Sunday wasn’t a day, it was an event. My grandmother had the gravy going from early morning, and by two o’clock the whole family was there. Aunts, uncles, cousins, people who weren’t even family but always showed up when the meatballs came out. She made a hundred and twenty one time. Never any leftovers.
After I saw what one recipe did, I was determined. Put it all out there. Every recipe. Every story. So that’s what this book is.

I never thought I'd be doing this.
A former mob boss writing a cookbook. Believe me, nobody saw it coming, least of all me. But here I am. And I'm bringing the family table back. In my former life, family meant something different. In this life, it means something different. But the table is the same. The gravy is the same. The noise, the arguing, the love, it's all the same. We're all family.

What exactly do I get for $49.99?

Do I have to buy the wine?
No. The pairings are suggestions. Buy the cookbook on its own if that's what you want. Wine packages are for ages 21+ and purchased through Franzese Wine. Check wine shipping eligibility.
When does it ship?
The cookbook is available October 17. The exact shipping date and signed-copy will be shipped 2-3 business days after the order.
Do you ship internationally?
As of now, only within the United States.
Do I need to know how to cook?
For most of the dishes - no. You can just follow direction. However we recommend having some experience or someone assisting with more difficult recipes!
