Sauvignon Blanc

Voskehat & Kangun
Heritage

This is not a Sauvignon Blanc in the traditional sense - it is something older and more interesting. The wine is a 50/50 blend of two Armenian white grapes: Voskehat, known as the "Queen of Armenian Grapes," and Kangun, the most widely planted white variety in the country. Voskehat has been cultivated for over 3,000 years, with some vines still producing today estimated to be 150 years old. Both grapes are grown at elevations up to 6,000 feet in volcanic soil across the Vayots Dzor and Ararat regions - conditions that produce a natural freshness and aromatic complexity that no amount of winemaking technique can manufacture. The result is a wine that tastes familiar to Sauvignon Blanc lovers but carries a depth and character entirely its own.

What it feels like

Light-bodied and dry, with a soft, almost creamy texture that makes it very easy to drink. You'll get honey, green apple, and a little white peach - nothing sharp or overly tart. There's a gentle floral note on the finish that lingers in the best way. Overall, it's a relaxed, refreshing white that feels approachable from the very first sip.

Honey Green Apple White Peach Wildflower Melon Soft Finish
Perfect pairings
Two grilled fish on a baking tray with seasonings and utensils.

Grilled sea bass or halibut

The wine's clean acidity and stone fruit notes complement the delicate sweetness of white fish without overwhelming it.

Goat cheese and herb crostini

The wine's floral character and soft texture are a natural match for creamy, tangy goat cheese.

Chicken in lemon cream sauce

The wine's brightness cuts through the richness of the sauce while echoing its citrus notes.

Fresh mezze board

Hummus, labneh, cucumber, and fresh herbs β€” a classic Armenian spread that lets the wine's floral aromatics shine.

Notes from the boss

"I wanted a white wine that could surprise people, something that tastes like a Sauvignon Blanc but comes from a place with history behind it. This is that wine."

The Birthplace of Wine

From Ancient Soil To Your Table

Long before the vineyards of France and Italy, long before the cellars of Napa Valley, there was Armenia β€” the cradle of winemaking. In 2011, archaeologists discovered the world's oldest known winery in the Areni-1 cave complex, dating back over 6,200 years.

This is not just wine. This is liquid heritage β€” a direct connection to the very origins of viticulture.

I really like the taste, but I can't drink too much of it because I am a diabetic. It's smooth going down after a good, cooked roast chicken meal. :)

It was very nice… slight aftertaste. I prefer a Pinot Grigio so it was a bit dry for me. I will order again

I purchased your wine as a Christmas gift. The bottles were well packaged and arrived in a decent amount of time. I will update my review once I get some feedback from my wine connoisseur friends.
