Areni Noir
ARENI GRAPE
The ancient ancestor of Pinot, grown in the volcanic soils of Armenia for over 6,100 years.
Malbec
ARMENIAN MALBEC
A full-bodied and smooth single-varietal red wine with rich, fruity, and savory flavors.
Sauvignon Blanc
Voskehat & Kangun Grapes
Light-bodied and dry, with a soft, almost creamy texture that makes it very easy to drink.
I picked each of these wines myself. Here's why.
Areni Noir
Smooth, dry, and easy to drink — with just enough dark cherry and spice to keep it interesting. This was the first wine I tried from Armenia, and I couldn't put it down. It drinks like something twice the price.
Malbec
Full-bodied, dry, and rich — dark plum, a little chocolate, clean finish. My rule was simple: if someone who doesn't like red wine asks for a second glass, it's in. This one passed every time.
Sauvignon Blanc
Light, crisp, and refreshing — hints of honey, green apple, and peach. I wasn't a white wine person until I tried this. Now I keep a bottle in the fridge at all times.
The Birthplace of Wine
From Ancient Soil To Your Table
Long before the vineyards of France and Italy, long before the cellars of Napa Valley, there was Armenia — the cradle of winemaking. In 2011, archaeologists discovered the world's oldest known winery in the Areni-1 cave complex, dating back over 6,200 years.
This is not just wine. This is liquid heritage — a direct connection to the very origins of viticulture.

Excellent Wines! Highly Recommend!
Probably the best wine I have ever had. Would recommend more variety. Will be ordering again.
Very nice bundle. I don’t usually buy white wine but yours is crisp and refreshing.
Our family loved them. Great Wine. Great Service.
I purchased this wine package for my wife who loves good wine. She is enjoying Mikes wine very much. I am now a new customer.
The Malbec is delicious and I really enjoyed it! I’m so glad I bought it. I’m saving the Areni for a special occasion and I’m looking forward to trying the white wine.

Delicious. We are very happy with the wines we’ve ordered.
My very first order was for the Bundle of fruit wines, and a bottle of the Areni. All of the fruit wines were delicious, but have to say that I enjoyed the Pomegranate and Blackberry the best! Amazing Wines 😊 I haven't opened the Areni yet and cannot wait to try it with a wonderful Italian Meal. I am so happy that I took a chance on ordering these wonderful delicious wines. Huge Thanks to Michael and the shipping dept! Will certainly be ordering again.. Jim R 😊👌👍🙏🇺🇸
I purchased the wine for Valentine’s Day gathering but it showed up late and I don’t drink but my wife and neighbor tried the white wine and said it was very good.
Our family "sit down" featured a bottle of Areni Wine. This wine was the top choice to go along with the Italian dinner. Franzese Family please try your choice of Franzese Wine. I have tried all of Michael's wine and everyone of these wines were outstanding!
Perfect!
Incredible wine

WHAT MAKES ARMENIAN WINE DIFFERENT FROM WHAT I'M USED TO?
WHAT MAKES ARMENIAN WINE DIFFERENT FROM WHAT I'M USED TO?
Armenia is one of the oldest winemaking regions on earth — the world's earliest known winery was discovered there, dating back over 6,000 years. The high-altitude vineyards in the Ararat Valley and Vayots Dzor region produce grapes with a natural depth and character you won't find in California or Europe. These aren't trendy wines — they're ancient ones.
ARE THESE DRY OR SWEET?
ARE THESE DRY OR SWEET?
All three Armenian wines are dry. The Areni and Malbec are full-flavored reds with no residual sweetness. The Sauvignon Blanc is crisp and refreshing — it has natural fruit notes like honey and peach, but it finishes dry, not sweet.
WHAT FOOD DO THESE PAIR BEST WITH?
WHAT FOOD DO THESE PAIR BEST WITH?
The Areni pairs beautifully with lamb, pasta, or a cheese board. The Malbec is excellent with any grilled or braised meat — steak, short ribs, khorovats. The Sauvignon Blanc works well with fish, chicken, light pasta, or a mezze spread. All three are great at the dinner table.
ARE THESE WINES AVAILABLE YEAR-ROUND?
ARE THESE WINES AVAILABLE YEAR-ROUND?
Yes. We carry all three Armenian wines year-round. Inventory can run low during the holidays and gifting season, so if you're ordering for an event or as a gift, we recommend ordering early.
WHY DID MICHAEL CHOOSE ARMENIAN WINES?
WHY DID MICHAEL CHOOSE ARMENIAN WINES?
Michael discovered Armenian wine during a personal transformation in his life and was struck by the quality, the history, and the story behind it. He built Franzese Wine around these bottles because he believed they deserved a wider audience. Every wine in the Armenian lineup is one he personally selected and stands behind.
