Strawberry Wine

Highland Armenia
Heritage

Armenian strawberries are not the large, pale, commercially grown berries found in most supermarkets. They are small, deeply red all the way to the core, sun-ripened in highland volcanic soil where the growing season is short and intense. The dramatic temperature swings of the Armenian highlands - blazing days and cool nights, force the fruit to develop a concentration of flavor and natural sugar that lowland strawberries simply cannot achieve. Naturally fermented with no artificial flavors, no added sugar, and no sulfates, this wine is pure Armenian summer in a bottle β€” the result of letting extraordinary fruit speak entirely for itself.

What it feels like

Light-bodied and semi-sweet - it tastes exactly like fresh strawberries, with a soft floral note and a bright, clean acidity that keeps it from feeling heavy. Serve it chilled and it drinks like a livelier, fruitier rosΓ©. Overall, it's fun and easy - the wine that disappears first at every table.

Ripe Strawberry Wild Berry Rose Petal Soft Floral Bright Acidity Smooth Finish
Perfect pairings

Brie and honey on a cheese board

The wine's floral notes and sweetness complement the buttery richness of Brie in a pairing that feels effortlessly elegant.

Grilled salmon with berry glaze

The wine's acidity and fruit character work beautifully with the richness of salmon, especially with a berry-forward glaze.

Brunch β€” eggs, pastries, fresh fruit

This is the brunch wine. Serve slightly chilled alongside a spread of pastries and fresh fruit and it will be the first bottle empty.

Notes from the boss

"This is the most dangerous brunch pour I've ever made. One glass and everyone wants to know what it is. Once you taste them, you'll understand why"

The Birthplace of Wine

From Ancient Soil To Your Table

Long before the vineyards of France and Italy, long before the cellars of Napa Valley, there was Armenia β€” the cradle of winemaking. In 2011, archaeologists discovered the world's oldest known winery in the Areni-1 cave complex, dating back over 6,200 years.

This is not just wine. This is liquid heritage β€” a direct connection to the very origins of viticulture.

Wow. This wine completely caught me by surprise. The first thing you notice is the incredible strawberry aroma when you open the bottle. One sip and you can tell this isn't some cheap artificial fruit-flavored wine. It tastes like real, ripe strawberries picked at their peak.
Served ice cold, it is smooth, refreshing, and dangerously easy to drink. The sweetness is balanced perfectly without being overpowering, making it enjoyable whether you're a wine enthusiast or just someone looking for something different.
The bottle itself is beautiful and always gets people talking, but the real star is what's inside. Every person I shared it with wanted another glass and asked where it came from. Michael Franzese and his team absolutely knocked this one out of the park.
If you're on the fence, stop thinking about it and order a bottle. Matter of fact, order twoβ€”you'll wish you had. This is hands down one of the most enjoyable fruit wines I've ever tasted, and I'll definitely be buying more.

I've really never been much of a wine person, but I took a shot on 3 of the 4 fruit wines. Neither the wife or I like anything pomegranate flavor, so didn't try that one. We lucked out in that we both liked all 3 we tried. The blackberry is my favorite, with strawberry 2nd & cherry 3rd. The wife's favorite is the strawberry, then the cherry with blackberry being 3rd, but again, we both like all 3.

I finally got to try the strawberry wine. WOW! Fantastic. Smooth, mellow clean on the pallet. But then, the most fascinating strawberry jam flavor flooded the taste buds. Great wine. Thank you sir.

Michael I was so excited to receive your strawberry wine. My first sip was delicious! I drank it on an empty stomach so I felt the affects immediately. It is the perfect wine. I will order again and try different flavors of the wine.

We enjoyed the strawberry wine after it had some time to breathe. When we first opened the bottle the taste was too intense. After the wine had a chance to breathe the flavor was very good but we enjoyed the cherry and blackberry wines more.

I am not able to give an accurate review on this because Covid 19 took my tasting and smelling ability away three years ago. At times I have occasional short bursts of taste which I had with my Blackberry wine and that was absolutely fantastic! I pray for continued success in your winery and all of your family and staff! God Bless you all!
