A sweet red dessert wine featuring a blend of Armenian Areni and Khachet grapes for a spicy fruit experience.
A blend of Areni grapes—considered the “pearl” of Armenian wine grapes—and deep-red Khachet grapes grown in the Ararat Valley of Armenia result in a sweet port blend dessert wine featuring spicy, fruity, and vanilla flavors.
Taste: Opulent and rich, with powerful yet well-integrated tannic structure, elegant, pronounced flavors of ripe red berries, red cherries, and dried plum, with caramel, vanilla, and cedar notes, leading to a complex lingering finish. The grapes are hand-picked at the ripest moment, and the best grapes are carefully selected for the fermentation process. Grown at 1,200 meters above sea level in the Vayots Dzor region of Armenia.
Pairs well with The fruity, spicy, caramel, and vanilla flavors pair wonderfully with fruit tarts, dried fruits, chocolate desserts, and pungent cheeses such as blue cheese and parmesan.
